35th Annual MT Cowboy Poetry Gathering (August 13-16, 2020)
Re-Scheduled for August 12-15, 2021
The Board of Directors of Montana Cowboy Poetry and Western Music Gathering, held annually in August in Lewistown, MT have announced that this year’s Gathering is being postponed and re-scheduled to August 12-15, 2021.
The volatile uncertainties created by the corona virus threat have made planning for this August’s Gathering impossible. The MT Cowboy Poetry Board did not want to put anyone “in harm’s way” so the decision was made to postpone the event until August of 2021. Hopefully by summer 2021 we’ll have TESTING, TREATMENTS and a VACCINE to combat this world-wide pandemic.
Tickets already sold for RED STEAGALL for the Saturday night, Grand Stage Show and the Thursday evening ‘Welcome BBQ’ will be honored for next August, 2021. If a refund is desired, refunds will be issued for tickets returned by November 2nd, 2020 to: Karen Kuhlmann, 962 High Meadows Lane, Lewistown, MT, 59457. Tickets also returned to the Lewistown Art Center, 323 W. Main St., Lewistown, MT 59457 will also be processed for refund.
Inquiries welcome at 406-538-4575.
Since 1986, Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Western Music Rendezvous has produced their award-winning 4-day event every August, dedicated to the celebration of the American Cowboy of the Upper Rocky Mountain West. This year, the 35th Gathering is a casualty of the corona virus pandemic.
Calls are being taken at 406-538-4575. Tickets for August 12-15, 2021, are available at the Lewistown Art Center, 406-535-8278 or online at MontanaCowboyPoetryGathering.com.
